Camouflage Rubber Wellington Boots

Something a little different for today's post, with a nice 5 minute and 12 seconds video featuring rubber Wellington boots. Wellies have an attraction that is all their own, as this video, uploaded to YouTube by highbeam7 in December 2008 shows.

This video begins pretty much as it intends to go on, with a close up view of a pair of Wellington boots. The boots are resting on a table, and their wearer is presenting their heavily ribbed soles to the camera for our inspection whilst rubbing them together with a pleasing, rubber-on-rubber squeak.

No run of the mill black Wellies these, such as you might find working in any garden. Instead, our host has chosen to show off a fine pair of camouflage patterned boots that put more mundane rubber boots to shame - or at least, cast them into the shade.

Although there is little variation in the movements on display in this Wellington boots video, that doesn't detract from the overall effect as much as you might expect. Instead, we have a prolonged opportunity to study the gleaming rubber of both the boots themselves and their very substantial soles, in a degree of detail that we might not otherwise experience, and I, for one, think the clip is all the better for it.

Sound quality isn't at all bad, either, and we are able to quite clearly hear the interaction of one Wellington boot with another. Squeaky rubber boots make a fantastic noise, and it's not lost in this clip. Overall, I loved this boots video, and I think all other fans of Wellies will too!
